Evernote – share photo or image via iOS share menu vs. directly import into the app from photos
Interesting. I was wondering whether a photo saved into my Evernote archive would be the same when I do it via the iOS share menu and via the add image to note in Evernote. It turns out there is a difference!
Firstly the image looks better when shared via the system sharing function. See how many more colours the second photo shows (may need a calibrated AdobeRGB monitor):
And the same via the share menu has a smaller file size and colours look right:

Conclusion: use the system share menu. Do not import directly from the Evernote iOS app.
